The material
Full grip from toes to heel and a compression band across the arch: the sock does not twist, the foot does not slide. On the reformer as on the mat, you stop thinking about your footing.
Two grips, not one
OutsideGrips the mat
InsideHolds your foot
Most grip socks only grip the floor, so your foot slides inside. Here, two waves of silicone hold it from the inside too.
What we fixed
Nubs that peel off after three washes. Ours are knitted into the fabric, not printed on top: they leave with the sock, not before.
The sock that twists around the foot mid-series. A compression band holds the midfoot and stops the rotation.
Open toes and split toes that nobody wants to wear. The foot is fully covered, toes included.
Grip that only covers the forefoot. Ours runs from toes to heel, exactly where the foot presses on a reformer.
The hold is where the movement starts
In Pilates everything starts at the floor. Let the foot slide one centimetre and the whole series shifts: the pelvis compensates, the shoulders rise, the breath shortens.
We make socks for that one centimetre. So the foot stays where it was placed, and the mind can think about something other than its footing.

I rarely write a review, but these are worth it. Simply a great product: soft, strong, stylish and absolutely worth the price.Translated from Dutch
Very good quality and design. Great after-sales service too.Translated from French
My five pair of socks arrived in a decent delivery time. The socks themselves are good quality and more importantly fitted perfectly. I had issues with another company selling the same style of socks which in no way fitted me, but not the case with Polar Star. Well worth my 5 stars.
Fast delivery. Very comfortable socks and lots of nice patterns.Translated from French
The delivery was quick, the socks I ordered looks like the ones I got and the customer service was great. Would definitely recommend 👍👍

The questions we get asked
Do they really hold on a reformer?
Yes, that is what they were designed for. The sole is covered edge to edge with silicone ribs, not just under the forefoot like most sports socks. They also hold on wood floors, on the mat and at the barre.
Are the toes separated?
No. The foot is fully covered, toes included. That is a choice: split-toe models bother a lot of people and do not hold any better.
Does the grip survive washing?
Yes, at 30 °C and without a tumble dryer. The ribs are knitted in rather than glued on, which is what makes them last. The dryer, on the other hand, ruins any non-slip sole.
Does the sock twist during exercise?
No. A compression band runs across the midfoot and supports the arch: the sock does not rotate and does not bunch underfoot.
What are they made of?
Technical knit, 95 % polyamide and 5 % elastane, OEKO-TEX certified. Not cotton, and that is deliberate: polyamide dries fast and holds its shape, so the grip stays where it was put.
Are two sizes really enough?
Yes. The knit is elastic and follows the foot. When hesitating between the two, take the smaller one: the compression band needs to hold the arch to do its job.
Will the colour transfer onto a light mat?
No. Polyamide binds the dye inside the fibre rather than sitting on the surface. Nothing migrates in the wash or on contact.
How does the discount work?
It only counts the number of pairs in the basket, whatever the collection. 3 and 4 pairs -20 %, 5 and 6 pairs -30 %, 7 to 9 pairs -40 %, 10 and over -50 %. Valid until 31 January 2027.
When do I get them?
Orders leave within 24 working hours. Delivery in 2 to 4 working days in France, 3 to 7 working days in most European countries, 5 to 9 working days elsewhere. The exact lead time for each country is shown at checkout.
What if they do not fit?
30 days from delivery to send them back, unworn and in their packaging. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
